An Exciting New Chapter
After three years working with us as a childminding assistant, Ryan has now qualified as an Ofsted-registered childminder and will be taking over the setting from September 2026.
Halle, who has also been part of our team for the past three years, will continue working alongside Ryan. Both Ryan and Halle hold Level 3 early-years qualifications and know the children, families and ethos of the setting extremely well.
We are delighted to be handing the setting over to them and feel confident that they will continue to provide the warm, caring and child-led environment that families have come to know.
For information about available spaces from September, please contact Ryan at rybennett8@outlook.com.

Our Next Adventure
Mike and I are moving to Cornwall, where we are beginning an exciting new chapter at The Goaty Orchard, our small family farm near Bude. We will be establishing Goaty Orchard Forest School, a new Ofsted-registered childminding setting based in five acres of woodland on the farm.
We will continue doing what we love: offering children a warm, nurturing and adventurous outdoor childhood, with plenty of opportunities to explore the woods, help on the farm, grow and cook food, and spend time with our goats and other animals.
Alongside the forest school, we will be developing the wider farm, including our orchards, dairy goats and plans to produce our own goat’s cheese and cider. Although we are very sad to say goodbye to our Bristol families after so many wonderful years, we are also looking forward to this new adventure. It makes leaving much easier knowing that Ryan and Halle will continue caring for the setting and its families with the same warmth, enthusiasm and dedication.
